I have purchased (and returned) at least 3 other curtains to various retailers that have advertised them to be "black-out" curtains. These are the real deal! The curtains truly block out the light very well. They are 100% polyester and the blue is a deep navy. They hang very well the wrinkles are slowly disappearing and they have a silky feel. They even come with tiebacks! I highly recommend them especially if you work the night shift or just like it dark for a good nap!
Just a follow up - we just got back from Vegas (May 2010) and our room darkening curtains in the hotel were not as DARK as the ones in our home bedroom! Still lovin' this purchase.

The reviews are right on these curtains work.Just as the other reviewers sate these blackout/thermal curtains work exceptionally well (and thank you very much for taking the time to write the reviews they really helped me make up my mind). But truthfully I wasn't expecting much of a change.
I got them yesterday put them up and then went to work. When I got home last night my bedroom was at least 10 degrees cooler than normal; and with the lights out much darker as well. I recently moved from a house where my lady worked nights and had the bedroom basically blacked out so she could sleep during the day. My problem is where I live now the morning sun comes streaming in my window very early and very bright thus waking me up earlier than I like (I work second shift and usually sleep until 10 AM so being awakened at 8-9 AM was killing me). That is no longer a problem thank God. I even overslept 1.5 hours this morning!!
And right now we are in the middle of a heat wave with triple digit temperatures so I can vouch for the validity of the thermal properties of these excellent curtains. My room is usually at least 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house even with my ceiling fan on but now that is no longer a problem. The same is true in winter my room stays at least 10 degrees colder (I've lived here before...thank God for understanding loving parents!). I'm sure I'll see the same results this winter with my room being much warmer.
Also these are very soft satiny feeling curtains not rough feeling at all. If you didn't know better you'd think they were much higher priced regular fine draperies with no thermal/blackout properties whatsoever. But touch can be very deceiving in this case. This company deserves an award for the design of these curtains.

I got the sheer curtains in white. They're just as pictured - nothing amazing or anything but come on its a set of curtains. Maybe its me being too picky but I don't LOVE the top of the curtains. I'd rather a smooth top but it tends to ruffle at the top when you push them together. It kindof makes an uneven look because you can see this above the curtains I have in front.

I got these and remembered the saying "you get what you pay for" when I got them. Upon opening the box 2 strands fell to the floor that were not attached and others were coming loose. The seller BEWILD said I can pay to ship the defective items back to them for a refund. If a seller ships defective items they should pay for return shipping. Pay the extra $$ for a good set...

Great CurtainsThese are everything promised- they block light from coming in. The fabric is soft not at all stiff. Also the customer service is good; I got them shipped to me very quickly. I got the orange curtains the the color closely matches what you see pictured here.
I noticed the pictures show different hanging styles. (Some show rings while others show a rod pocket.) The ones I got have hidden tabs- which is really the easiest style for hanging.
All in all I am satisfied with the purchase!
